Encircled with balconies and flooded with natural daylight, the Petar Petrov HQ is located in a 19th century building in Vienna’s second district. The historic building was designed in 1886 by Ludwig Tischler, one of the most prolific and highly regarded architects of the era.
The classically elegant space, with its parquet floors and high ceilings, is the perfect setting for Petrov’s design practice. Generous interconnecting rooms lead from the studio through to showrooms and work areas allowing for a constant flow of people, music, ideas and activity. With patternmakers and seamstresses in his core team of ten, Petrov is able to swiftly turn sketches into toiles and work on perfecting cut, drape and movement.
The décor, featuring handpicked eclectic furniture, luscious plants, artworks and ambient lighting, is both functional and inspiring. Views reach out over the rooftops to the city’s historic centre while the local neighbourhood is a vibrant hub dotted with creative start-ups, restaurants and cafes.
